Well, everyone in McCall has been having to shovel off their roofs because of the ice build up. If you look real close you can see Clyde up there doing ours. While he was clearing is off he wrecked his knee and had to have an MRI. You guessed it, he has been referred to an orthopedic surgeon in Boise for an evaluation. He tore his miniscus (however you spell it). Anyway, he just puts on a brace everyday and goes to work. You just can't get him down. "There's work to do!!" You gotta love him!

So I woke up at 2:30am (having a little trouble sleeping, dah!) and decided to update a few things on the blog. It was Amy's 32nd birthday Feb. 4th so I took her to breakfast, EARLY. I got her out of bed. Maybe it wasn't the nicest thing to do to a woman in her eighth month of pregnancy but it was great for both of us. At the Pancake House here in McCall they bring you a huge cinnamon roll with a candle and a lady with an accordian played Happy Birthday. I thought about taking over, since I took accordian lessons once in my life. Really! But that was a joke, I still don't read music. I guess my mom thought after giving piano lessons to my siblings she would try the Accordian with me. WHAT? Anyway, Amy and I had a good time. I LOVE you Ames!
I finally got around to taking the camera with me when I went to the new house. Thought I would share how it's going. The drywall starts going up on Friday! Yah Hoo!
Then the tongue and groove on the ceilings. Lots of work but it should be great when it's done. That is, if it looks like we dream it will.
This is the process of putting the logs up in the great room between the windows.

When the snow is gone, this will be a picture of the front of the house from the road. HA HA! We know that spring will come about a month earlier than McCall since we are down the canyon in the valley of Meadows. Actually that means we will have mud sooner than most BUT it will dry out sooner, too. Gotta keep positive! :-)
